Oranges are definitely the best fruit, because its the only fruit that when you eat it, every one around you goes “Man, that smells so good, I wish I had an orange!”. I’ve never seen any other fruit invoke jealousy in someone the way an orange does.
My band Hyannis is playing a show at the Pizza Shoppe, located at 60th and Maple in Benson, Saturday night at 8PM. It’s free, so come get some pizza and rock out!
Why do the phrases “I could care less” and “I couldn’t care less” mean the same thing?
Work over at Lunch-o-Matic is coming along slowly but surely. One major bump in the road is that neither I or Dak have any design skills whatsover. If anyone with any design skills would be willing to lend a hand without any monetary compensation, please let me know. It shouldn’t be much work, just a fairly simple logo and some css.

Line rider is probaably the most addictive thing on the internet ever. Be warned, however, days of your life may dissapear as you pour hours in to this pseudo-game trying to make big jumps and loop-de-loops.
Updated a few new things over at Lunch-o-Matic today. The map shouldn’t send you to the ocean any more, it will only take valid addresses, and there’s a link to get more info about the restaurant. Coming soon: narrow search to specific kinds of restaurants, driving directions, fewer false positives, error reporting, and maybe even some sort of actual site design! Suggestions are always welcome, feel free to leave any you might have in the comments.
My band Hyannis has two shows coming up this month. The first is at 8PM, October 27th at The Foundry. The second is a 21+ show at O’Leavers on November 4th at 9PM, opening for A Tomato A Day at O’leavers. Both should be pretty cheap, so come check us out if you can!
While I personally chose to side with ninjas on in the great ninja vs pirate debate, it should be noted that tomorrow is Talk Like a Pirate Day. You should also type like a pirate, so I suggest using this handy keyboard:
Last night Dakota, Autumn, and I were standing in the PKI parking lot. The three of us we’re hungry and couldn’t make up our minds on where to go. Too bad there isn’t just a web site that would pick one for you. Maybe let you chose the kinds of resturants you want, and how far you’d like to travel, and give you a new place to go to. Even show you how to get there if you don’t know how. Well, there will be soon. Dakota had the brilliant idea to create such a place. Lunchomatic.net will soon be giving out random places to eat for all those who are too lazy to thing of where to go, or just want to try something new.
Dak and I should have the coding part covered, but we could use some help with the site design. If you don’t mind working for free, let me know.
We hope to have a working preview up within a week or two. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
